About Steve Warburton
Aside from being a dear and long-time friend, Steve Warburton is one of the most talented Australian fine artists and illustrators that I have had the privilege to know. Like many of us, he began his career in the field of Graphic Design and Illustration, doing all those (often mundane) tasks that artists refer to as "Paying Your Dues". Eventually Steve left the security of the "day job" behind and boldly put his talents on the line and dedicated himself to his love of art.
His works reflect a deep social conscience and a truly unique, often surreal perspective on the world and our place in it.
